HOME HOPE COMMUNITY
Our purpose

Our mission.

At Home Girls Foundation, we believe every single mother deserves the opportunity to own a place she can proudly call her own. We are dedicated to empowering single mothers by helping remove financial barriers to homeownership and providing the resources, education, and support needed to turn that dream into reality.

Through education, encouragement, and guidance, we strive to create a pathway to homeownership that promotes independence, financial stability, and long-term security.

Our goal is to help single mothers establish a strong foundation for themselves and their children, creating brighter futures, strengthening families, and opening doors to generational wealth through the power of homeownership.

Understanding the barriers

Why our work matters.

Every single mother deserves the opportunity to build a secure future. Employment, income, and access to homeownership tell different parts of that story—and help explain why removing financial barriers is at the heart of Home Girls Foundation.

About these statistics

These are historical research findings, not Home Girls Foundation’s program results. The studies use different years and definitions, so figures should be read within their stated scope. LendingTree defines single parents as householders with no spouse present and children under 18. The Center for American Progress defines single mothers as mothers living with children under 18, with no spouse present and no cohabiting partner. BLS uses families maintained by a mother with no spouse present.

Help open the door to her next chapter.

Our mission responds to these barriers through resources, education, encouragement, and support—helping single mothers work toward homeownership, independence, and lasting security for their families.
